Palm Springs Aerial Tramway
Take a ride to the top of the tramway some 8500ft above the desert floor and hike the San Jacinto State Park Wilderness or dine at Peaks, a fine dining experience with a breathtaking view of the Coachella Valley or Pines Café, a cafeteria-style restaurant. Both restaurants are open for lunch and dinner.

Palm Springs Thursday Night Street Fair (Villagefest)

Palm Springs Follies
The Follies 21st season runs November 1, 2011 through May 20, 2012, and plays five days, most weeks. If you have not seen this celebration of the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s it’s a “must do”.
“The River” at Rancho Mirage
Visit “The River” to shop, dine, attend the outdoor amphitheatre or just stroll around the riverwalk plazas. Visit the Yard House for speciality ales. Another “must do”.
College of the Desert Street Fair
Locally known as the C.O.D and held on the College Campus in Palm Desert, a place to buy those one of a kind gifts. Another " must do".
El Paseo at Palm Desert
Known as the Rodeo Drive of the Desert, El Paseo boasts a wide spectrum of stores from Sak's 5th Avenue to individually owned boutiques.
Tennis enthusiasts check the schedule for tennis and other events.
